![]() ![]() But Poreless Putty Primer actually contains 0.72 oz and Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer and 0.70 oz. Visually E.L.F.’s packaging is a a lot smaller and Tatcher’s gives the illusion of containing a lot more primer due to this. The lack of a spatula isn’t an issue as I have plenty of them laying around but I think it would have been nice to include one.Īs I said Tatcha’s packaging is a lot fancier and it a hell of a like bigger. It’s nothing fancy like Tatcha’s version that’s for sure and it also doesn’t come with a spatula or a pick to scoop out the primer where as Tatcha’s does. look with the black cap and the clear base. Poreless Putty Primer comes in a plastic container that holds 0.72 oz of product. Although, at the moment it’s a controversial topic and many brands are snapping back at brands that aren’t creating dupes so much anymore but out and out copies of products.Īnyway, off the topic of makeup dupes I’m sure you’ll want to know how I felt about Poreless Putty Primer.Į.L.F. Makeup dupes are fairly common in the beauty world and E.L.F.’s always been on point creating cheaper version of the hottest and newest makeup releases. I mean if you love Tatcha’s formula why wouldn’t you want an $8 version to save yourself some major cash not to mention if you simply can’t afford $52 bucks or can’t see yourself spending that much on a primer why wouldn’t you want a budget option? I understand the excitement though considering Tatcha’s version is $52 and E.L.F’s is $8 (and a smidge bigger too by the way). Why? Because I’m one of the few people that really didn’t like Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer. ![]() Poreless Putty Primer ($8) is a new solid facial primer being hauled as Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer which actually didn’t have me excited. It’s just so overkill!īut hey, if E.L.F.E.L.F. You have a solid product, guys! No need to introduce all these variations of it! I think they have an illuminating one now, a color correcting one…. has been going a little too crazy with this formula in my opinion. Like I said above I love the idea of products like this but in most cases, they are a one-trick pony!Į.L.F. Just use your regular Vitamin C daily for the best benefits and don’t rely on your primer to do the job for you. I could be grossly wrong about C-Bright Putty Primer but I dunno if 2% vitamin C is going to do much for your skin. Tatcha’s version always felt oddly oily on me! I don’t have visible pores but E.L.F.’s formula is great for setting a nice, smooth canvas for makeup. Tatcha’s formula and I never got on! Way too greasy feeling to me but E.L.F.’s formula was just right. Poreless Putter Primer is def a nicer version of Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer in my humble opinion. I’m sure it has the same great formula as Poreless Putty Primer. But in reality, I’m not sure 2% Vitamin C is going to do much of anything for your skin. It’s always fun having a hybrid product that acts as a base and a skincare product. is relaunching Poreless Putty Primer yet again with a new formula that contains 2% Vitamin C and I’m sitting here like, “Yeah, I don’t need that but thank you anyway!” The idea of E.L.F. C-Bright Putty Primer holds no interest for me. ![]()
